• Girls Empowerment Group – Free and confidential 7-week groups for girls focusing on friendships, healthy self-esteem, and confidence. For more information, see OPC website.
• Your Authentic Self (YAS) - PFLAG Jersey Shore collaborates with Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) to provide the YAS, Too for children ages 8-12 & YAS, Teen for teens ages 13-18. YAS is hosted in partnership with PFLAG Jersey Shore and Ocean Partnership for Children for parents and youth to receive support in a safe and welcoming environment. Youth will attend the “Your Authentic Self Group” while parents attend the PFLAG Jersey Shore Group simultaneously. Groups are held in person on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30-8:00. If you're feeling stressed out, call the Family Helpline and work through your frustrations before a crisis occurs. You'll speak to sensitive, trained volunteers of Parents Anonymous who provide empathic listening about parenting and refer you to resources in your community.
